I just love the commentary on this article-

In the lead up to the release of Avatar, James Cameron is doing lots of press, and MTV recently got a chance to ask the Terminator 1 and 2 director what he thought of McG’s Terminator Salvation. Trust me, you do not want to miss this one. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

“I have seen it, and unfortunately I saw it the wrong way, on cable at the hotel, while I was working, over three nights because I don’t have much time,” Cameron said. “It’s better than I thought it was going to be.”

HO SNAP! He thought it was gonna suck because McG’s a loser and his mom’s a bitch but it actually turned out sorta decent! Or maybe he thought it was gonna be just sorta “meh”, and it turned out kinda “so so”! AW HELL NAH, SH-T IS GETTIN REAL!

But Cameron went on to praise McG and his creative team for their efforts while also noting that the movie was missing some essential elements that made the earlier films such classics. “It’s actually quite reverential to the mythos of the ‘Terminator’ world,” he said. “I think McG and the writers tried hard to keep reacquainting you with some of those ideas in the story that they were weaving. So actually I thought it was pretty cool. I did feel that it sort of lacked Je ne sais quoi.“

I’m surprised I managed to get a sub 20 minute 5k row in after being torn apart from yesterday’s workout and doing those exercises right beforehand. I’ll take it.

Then:
Row 30 minutes, alternating 4 minutes (+2:00min/500m) / 1 minutes (-2:00min/500m)

RMM/KTE = 25:32
Yeah, the RMM/KTEs were pretty horrible. I was off to a good start and managed to complete half the total reps in under ten minutes. From there it went all down hill as I wasn’t able to catch my breath and my lack of conditioning over the last several months really showed. I’m sure I could have gone faster but after I crossed that 20 minute mark my will gave in. It’s a start.

The row was handled a little differently than normal since the RMM/KTEs kicked my butt pretty good. My slower section which normally hovers around 2:05 to 2:15 per 500m was significantly slower averaging around about 2:30 and even 2:45 at times. It was really just to get some steady cardio in. The fast segments however I really busted out on. Those normally hover around 1:53 to 1:57 per 500m. This time I kept it pretty much in the 1:40 range. The last hard segment stayed under 1:40 and mostly between 1:36 and 1:38. So the slow was really slow but the fast was some good effort.
